We asked some of our testers to try out the Cuisinart Steam Oven. Here's what one of them thought.

Hi, I’m John. I had the pleasure of testing, on behalf of Canadian Tire, the Cuisinart Steam Convection Oven. The only difference between it and a regular convection oven is the introduction of steam which penetrates the object you’re cooking. Be it fish, be it beef, be it pork. Everything comes out moist with a nice, crispy skin on the top. And generally speaking, about twenty percent faster than any other oven that I’ve ever used! The unit itself is small yet it will accommodate such things as a full twelve inch pizza. And easily handles, of course, the supplied grilling equipment. Not only that, but you have a lit up dial which gives you a selection of cooking cycles. You can make toast, you can broil, you can steam broil! One of the great advantage of course is it is easily cleaned by simply putting it through a steam cycle. I would certainly recommend this to my friends. As a matter of fact, I’m looking forward to demonstrating it over the holidays.
