My name is Kathy Gibson, and I'm going to be talking to you today about the Pelican Escape 120 kayak. My daughter and I get up and kayak every morning. Being a 12 foot long kayak, it tracks a little bit better, and has a little bit more stability in the water than comparative kayaks do. The color is pretty snazzy. The bigger boats that we do encounter on the river, such as the sailboats, and the speedboats can certainly see us when we're out on the water. It doesn't seems to blend in. The foam seat is nice and cushiony to sit in as well.
One of the great features about the Pelican is right in the front of the cockpit, there is a cup holder and a bag. That bag is perfect to drop your cellphone in, or your car keys, to make sure that you haven't lost them while you're out paddling. They don't get wet and get destroyed. We share our knowledge as much as we can. We encourage friends, and family, and even strangers to borrow our kayaks, and take off for a paddle for the day.
