<h1>5 Minutes Push up Challenge - Fitness Tips from Canadian Tire</h1>

It’s called the 5 minute push up challenge. And how it works is you’re<br />trying to do a hundred push ups in five minutes. A lot of people may think I’m crazy,<br />“I’ll never be able to do it,” and that’s okay. What you want to do is do as many as<br />you can in that five minutes. Mark down the number. And every time you retry this<br />challenge, just try to beat that number and get yourself closer and closer to the<br />hundred push up mark. Don’t be discouraged. Just give it a go and let’s have some<br />fun.<br />I’d recommend doing this twice a week for about six weeks, and see how you go. So<br />just to go over a couple basic things on the push up. The preferred way is full push<br />ups. Hands underneath your shoulders. Breathing in on the way down, breathing<br />out on the way up. You’re going to lower to about a couple inches off the floor and<br />press yourself back up.<br />Now, you could do them nice and quick, just make sure you’re keeping nice and tight<br />and engaged in your core.</p>
