It comes with a rubber padding, so basically it allows you to not slip. The tool does not slip off your hand. When it comes down to batteries, it comes with two that charge within thirty minutes. These are lithium ion batteries that basically will give you about an hour's run time. It comes with a battery indicator, that allows you to monitor the battery life that you have left as your working. Also, if your working in dark areas, it comes with a very handy little LED light that allows you to see in some dark areas and drive your screws all day long.
