Hi, my names John Sharples and I'm a semi-retired auto-body mechanic. I'm testing the Maximum oscillating power tool. There's a couple of features that really stand out. One of them is a LED light, and the other is variable speed. You can control the speed that the head reciprocates back and forth, which is kind of cool. I've used this one to repair my deck. It allows me to splice in, say a four foot 2x4 as opposed to a eight foot 2x4, which can save me a considerable amount of money.

What I really like about it is the ease in which you can change the blades from one tool to the next. It just takes seconds to install and once installed, they don't move. Also, it has a sanding feature with a special pad, which again is easy to install that allows you to sand, for example, window frames and really get into the corners. That way you don't have to use sand paper and your fingers to feather edge the paint. All in all, I'm vividly impressed.
