Hi. My name is Jeff Stevens and I'm here with the Reese 1800-pound Marina Collection Hand Winch. I'm just showing you a couple of features that I enjoy about this. First thing is the arm. It has a little bit of a slope out so that when you're actually winding your trailer in, you can see that I have a tight fit here but it doesn't actually rub. My old one actually will rub against here so it gives you that extra clearance. Another feature I like is the rubberized hook. Makes it so that if you accidentally dropped something or drop it, it doesn't damage your trailer or your boat if you're trying to clip it on. It does have the ability to winch out or winch in, easily switch between the two. Definitely recommend this to anyone that has a small to medium-sized boat.
I have a 16-foot boat. If the boat is all the way at the end of the trailer, it's very easy to pull it in especially with this ergonomic handle. It does not hurt my hand when I'm trying to reel it in. It's easy to use even one arm to pull the boat in.
